Track Watch is a feature rich remote surveillance and monitoring device capable of being covertly deployed over extended periods to combat asset theft.
When its integral sensors detect unauthorised activity within its proximity, the device sends a SMS alert to the deploying agency. This alert can include an optional still image. Track Watch immediately begins to record time and date stamped video footage of the incursion and associated illegal activity.
Track Watch has been designed to be flexible in deployment with the key component parts all having the ability to be remotely deployed from the central control unit.
This allows the battery pack, camera, infra red illuminator and motion sensor to be best positioned to ensure maximum effectiveness without compromising concealment.
Clearly each of these parts needs to be chosen to match the deployment priorities.
The central control unit is simple to program. It allows the user to define the active and dormant periods and associated wake up and shut down delays. A sleep mode reduces battery consumption during periods of no activity. Should the battery begin to run low a SMS message reports this to the user agency.
On arrival to the deployment site, the recorded footage can be downloaded using a WiFi wireless connection to laptop.
Track Watch was initially conceived to counter railway track side copper wire theft. However Track Watch is successfully being used in other situations where there is the potential for theft of property from unattended locations. This has included schools and religious properties.
The W&D support team can advise on deployment issues and the correct choice of peripheral components to ensure a successful operation.
It is our aim to never promise what we cannot deliver.
