The Trio portable is a compact, lightweight, frequency synthesized portable radio transmitter designed to be used with the Symphony base station radio. Unlike a standard PMR device, the Solo radio receiver is a dedicated device designed to allow a high quality audio feed to be transmitted to the Symphony base station radio.
In a broadcast studio, the Trio receiver will be used by floor managers and other users in conjunction with Solo receiver to reply to commands from the Producer via the Symphony base station radio. An alternative single box solution for the Solo and Duo combination would be the Duo full duplex beltpack transceiver.
The Trio transmitter is available in either rechargeable or dry cell versions. A 6-way desk charger is available which can take any combination of Solos, Duos and Trios.
Trio transmitters are built to order on customer specified frequencies between 400 MHz and 860MHz for use with either 12.5 or 25kHz channel spacing frequency allocations.
