Symphony Wireless Intercom Base Station

The Symphony full duplex wireless intercom radio base station is designed for voice communication applications which require duplex operation allowing simultaneous transmission and reception to take place.  

A significant use of Symphony is within the program making environment of a TV broadcasting station. In such a scenario the Symphony will be used with the Solo, Duo and Trio beltpack radio devices to allow the program makers to communicate freely and effortlessly behind the scenes.

Symphony is not a modified version of a PMR base station but a dedicated product designed to satisfy full duplex voice communications where high quality low fatigue audio is essential to the user.

Within a broadcast studio environment the Symphony radio talkback base station will interface directly with a studio's or OB truck's four-wire audio interface at line level.

Duplex, single aerial operation is achieved with an internal diplexer on the 400 to 470 MHz units and with two separate antenna ports for operation above 470 MHz. Power output is either 3 Watt maximum at to 470 MHz or 1 Watt maximum above 470 MHz.
