Investment-News

28-09-2011

I would like to share with you some exciting news about some investments we have been making to improve our capabilities and therefore our ability to supply you with an ever improving quality product line.

Earlier this year we doubled our investment in NC milling machines in order to allow us to increase the complexity and the production capacity of the enclosures on our products. This investment is already rewarding our customers by reducing the production lead time on these items.

Following the success of this investment the management team has authorised the upgrade of our surface mount facility with the planned opening of a dedicated facility, close to Lattice House. This investment will triple our capacity and increase the accuracy of component placement to 01/005. This investment is intended to allow us to (design and) manufacture increasingly more refined quality products in less time than it currently takes us today.

After careful assessment of the available machines in the market we have decided to build our new line around Mydata equipment. (This is a departure from the Juki equipment currently being used.) For those of you who have undertaken such a major change you will understand that precise planning and logistics are needed to ensure that any delays in the changeover are minimised.

This letter is intended to share with you our investment news while asking for your co operation to plan this change. The migration is planned to take place between Mid October and the end of November 2011. It is absolutely essential that we know your equipment needs before, during and after this period so that we can ensure that everything is in place to meet them.
Can we ask you to contact either your Sales consultant or our sales administration team based in Lattice House to ensure they are fully aware of your equipment requirements for the rest of 2011.

Should you require any additional details or clarification on the change then I would be pleased to hear from you.
